Aeronamic’s tradition of innovative high technology stems from our original parent company Urenco, the world leader in the design, manufacture and application of gas ultracentrifuges for nuclear fuel enrichment, an industry that shares the same key drivers of precision, quality and safety as aerospace.
Since 1989, we have designed, produced and supplied under license airflow valves, air turbine starters, centrifugal load compressors, cooling turbines and re-circulation fans as a single source supplier for commercial and military aircraft. We also reach into space with the design, manufacture and test of nutation dampers for use in spin-stabilized satellites. As well as our main production base in Almelo, The Netherlands, we have expanded our operations to include a new facility in Sibiu, Romania, taking advantage of high skills and a low cost base.
Aeronamic is member of the Green Systems for Aircraft Foundation (GSAF), an associate in the ITD Systems for Green Operations of JTI Clean Sky. Combining the knowledge and strength of several Dutch research institutes, we have taken up the challenge to develop innovative, efficient, high-speed electrical machines and turbo machinery to fit in the electric architecture of future green aircraft. The Aeronamic tradition continues and we take great pride in being part of the industry’s efforts in developing the next generation of green aircraft that will significantly reduce the environmental impact of aviation.
