1. center of excellence for wheels / impellers and other critical and complex machined parts, embedded with all special processes.
2. a global supply base of approved and best-value suppliers for some 2,500 part numbers, 20% of which come from high-opportunity countries.
3. efficient assembly and acceptance testing enabling competitive pricing for lower volume programs.
4. MRO center for (sub)systems.
5. development of new technology for high-speed rotating applications, aimed at reducing lifecycle cost.
