We are currently on the lookout for a capable Structural Engineer (m/f) who’s eager to work with our finite element software. After a period of training and familiarization we expect him/her to independently carry out the following tasks:

• Prepare and execute FEM calculations (FEMAP/NASTRAN);
• Design and implementation of stiffness and strength analysis (MathCAD);
• Prepare and guide product tests (e.g. strain gauge testing);
• Interpreting testresults and make recommendations / draw conclusions;
• Report results/findings;
• Participate in (international) projectteams and meetings;
• Maintain contacts with universities and schools.

Education and experience

Bachelor or University degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with demonstrable education and / or work experience in:

• 3D CAD en FEM software/hardware;
• Stiffness and strength analysis.

Experience in the analysis of fiber reinforced plastics is an advantage.

Personal competences

The person we are looking for has an interest in above mentioned fields and is prepared to specialize. The job entails understanding and writing of complex documents in the English language. This requires a meticulous and systematic approach and excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

Within this team we are looking for a Product Support Engineer.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support in the daily MRO activities (review required repairs and release in Finding reports, customer care).
• Development of new repairs, product design improvements, including documentation.
• Root cause investigations on failures, including reporting.
• Support in the account management activities (commercial en technical analyses, customer presentations).
• Generate functional specifications for new test rigs and upgrades.
• Manage, supervise and assist with test rig realisation.
• Write accurate documents, comprising of specifications, maintenance instructions, repair procedures , operator test instructions, qualification instructions, etc.

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelor or University degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with a demonstrated proficiency of at least 3 years in the relevant fields.

Within this team we are looking for a Surface Treatment Engineer.

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Maintain the surface treatment processes used within manufacturing:

• Create and maintain accurate documentation of specifications and instructions
• Qualify and guide manufacturing personnel
• Specify and guide investments

2. Provide support to the Engineering department with regard to

• Surface treatment selection for new products and repairs thereof
• Deviations assessment
• Failed coatings analysis

3. Provide support to the Procurement/QA departments with regard to

• Outsourcing of surface treatments (vendors and parts)
• Quality problems
• Process audits

Education/Qualifications:

Bachelor or University degree in Mechanical Engineering with an interest in:

• Surface treatment processes (cleaning, degreasing, passivating, anodizing, chemical film, coatings, shot peening etc.)
• Materials science (heat treatment, material selection)
