Activities:

• Determination of machining strategy and setting up CNC programme’s including corresponding documentation for new products.
• Analyse and convert production data to information which can be used in improvement projects
•  Initiate and optimize improvement processes of current production-methods and –techniques
• Assist with determination of future machining- and CAD/CAM/PLM technology, the relevant investments and subsequent implementation within the production facility
• Troubleshooting with regard to all common production problems
• Ensures that his/her activities are realised in accordance with the requirements and can evaluate, correct and report his/her activities.

Education/Qualifications:

• College degree in Mechanical Engineering supplemented by follow-up training courses (Higher Technical Education level)
• Experience with CAD/CAM systems (NX, Hypermill preferred)
• Extensive relevant workexperience relating to optimizing programmes for the machines and automation/robotizing machining
• Basic knowledge of the (technical) English language
