Almelo, December 8th 2011 – Aeronamic secured a new agreement for the production, repair and overhaul of the compressor system used for cooling the galleys, in-flight entertainment and avionics for all versions of Airbus A350. This contract will generate revenue exceeding the 100$ million mark.
Test and full assembly of the system and critical parts will be performed in The Netherlands. Parts manufacturing will be carried out in the new engineering & production facility in Sibiu, Romania. This is where Aeronamic created a new Centre of Excellence as part of its global expansion, ensuring maximum efficiency and lower cost.

The agreement, which sees us as single source supplier delivering the new Scroll Compressors, also puts us in charge of the system’s overhaul and repair for the lifetime of the aircraft. Aircraft orders are already well over the 500 mark and production is planned through 2041.”
