Aeronamic uses a well-controlled supply chain. Approximately 80% of the purchasing volume is taken care of by 40 suppliers. Purchasing is involved in all stages of the supply chain, including the procurement of castings & forgings to ensure availability. Suppliers have been selected based on their proven long-term track records in the Aerospace business and distinction in the delivery of high quality products in a reliable way. Partnering avoids fragmentation and ensures availability of parts. This facilitates Aeronamic's excellent and timely delivery performance. Most suppliers are located in the United States and France. However, Aeronamic is always focused on best value, as a result of which 20% of its purchases are from Eastern Europe, and this is set to rise.
