WHEEL MANUFACTURING

A center of excellence for wheels has been established with all special processes embedded. All turbine wheels, fans, impellers are manufactured entirely in-house.

The logistic system is based on low constant work in process (CONWIP) and single-piece flow, guaranteeing very short through-put times. A highly flexible workforce is moving towards the work instead of releasing new work to maintain productivity.
